-書salon has been highlighted by the NHK TV program "Minna no 2020 Ban Ban Japan" as an International activity group aimed towards the Tokyo Olympics. Because of the upcoming Tokyo Olympics, our goal is to offer hospitality to foreign tourists by providing the Japanese Calligraphy experience. To archive this, an English conversation lesson supported by foreign exchange students is incorporated into every Calligraphy lesson, in addition to practicing Calligraphy tequnique with t...hem. We also seek to provide a novel way of such enjoyment in Calligraphy to all people from inside and outside of Japan by using various beautiful Japanese papers for the artistic Calligraphy works they creat. -Tanabata Party
Let's make a wish by doing calligraphy! We will make garlands with very rare origami from France. We will also do some traditional decoration crafts for Tanabata with an exchange student! You can take real branches and leaves from a bamboo tree home to decorate them. Adults are also welcome to join! Come along wearing Yukata♪
書salon was able to donate about $1000 in total to the Red Cross for the people who suffered from the Great East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami through the Nagoya charity lessons. 名古屋で行ったチャリティーレッスンでは、東日本大震災で被災された方々に日本赤十字社を通し10万1千円を寄付することができました。
